About the InvestMichigan! Growth Capital Funds

Investment Profile

The InvestMichigan! Growth Capital Funds invest $2-9 million in companies with enterprise values of less than $200 million and one of the following characteristics:

• Are domiciled in Michigan;
• Have their corporate headquarters in Michigan;
• Have a significant percentage of their employees based in Michigan; or
• Are in the process of planning an expansion in and/or relocation to Michigan

Growth-oriented businesses, powered by talented managers and at or near profitability, may participate in a range of dynamic sectors, including but not limited to: advanced materials and manufacturing, health care and life sciences (excluding pharmaceuticals), media and communications, specialized consumer goods, homeland security, IT and clean technology. Prospective portfolio companies that meet these investment requirements may submit a business plan for review.
